Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CreatorFlow handles information when you use the CreatorFlow desktop application and this informational website.
1. About CreatorFlow
CreatorFlow is an independently developed Windows desktop application for organizing content projects, connecting authorized social media accounts, scheduling posts, and publishing content through official platform APIs.
2. Information processed by CreatorFlow
Depending on the features you use, CreatorFlow may process:
- Project names, scheduling data, captions, titles, hashtags, and other publishing metadata you enter.
- Media files you select for publishing.
- Basic profile information returned by connected platforms, such as account identifiers, display names, avatars, or channel/page names.
- OAuth access and refresh tokens required to connect and publish to supported social platforms.
- Technical publishing responses, external post identifiers, status information, and error messages returned by platform APIs.
3. Social media passwords
CreatorFlow does not request or store your TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, or other social media passwords. Account authorization is performed on the platform's own official OAuth authorization screen.
4. Local storage and credential security
In the current desktop version, CreatorFlow stores application data locally on the user's computer. OAuth credential bundles are stored using Windows Credential Manager. Local application records may include projects, account metadata, schedules, publication status, and logs.
5. Media processing and temporary public URLs
Media files are stored locally by default. Certain platform APIs may require the platform's servers to retrieve a media file from a publicly reachable URL. When required, CreatorFlow may expose a specific local media file through a short-lived, tokenized URL for the limited time needed to complete the publishing operation. The temporary route is intended only for media transfer and is revoked or expires after use.
6. Information shared with third-party platforms
When you choose to connect or publish to a third-party service, CreatorFlow sends the data required for that action to the selected platform through its official API. This may include media files, captions, titles, privacy settings, interaction settings, and other publishing parameters. Each third-party platform processes that information under its own privacy policy and terms.
7. Website hosting
This website is hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process standard network and security information such as IP addresses, request metadata, and security logs in accordance with its own policies. CreatorFlow does not use advertising cookies on this website.
8. Data selling and advertising
CreatorFlow does not sell personal data to advertisers. CreatorFlow does not use connected social account data for third-party advertising.
9. Data retention and deletion
Users can disconnect a social account from CreatorFlow, which removes the locally stored credential reference and associated OAuth credentials from the application's secure credential storage. Local projects, media files, publication history, and other application data can be removed through CreatorFlow's available controls or by deleting the local application data. Platform-side authorization can also be revoked directly from the connected platform.
10. Security
CreatorFlow uses reasonable technical measures for its current local-first architecture, including official OAuth flows, Windows Credential Manager for OAuth credentials, tokenized temporary media URLs, and avoiding storage of social account passwords. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Children's privacy
CreatorFlow is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. Users are responsible for complying with the age and eligibility requirements of the social platforms they connect.
12. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as CreatorFlow evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date on this page.
